Preparing for SEPA and beyond: how Ukrainian banks can bridge the payments & compliance gap
9 October 2026

We continue the series of joint webinars by ProFIX Group and Temenos, held within the framework of the partnership between the two companies, with the support of the Association of Ukrainian banks.
This time, the focus is on payments, SEPA and financial crime management — areas that are becoming increasingly strategic for banks as Ukraine moves closer to the European banking environment.
For Ukrainian banks, further integration into the EU banking system means adapting to new requirements and standards, including SEPA, ISO 20022, open banking, AML/KYC, DORA, PSD3 and PSR. At the same time, banks need to manage growing transaction volumes, real-time expectations and increasing demands for resilience, efficiency and customer trust.
During the webinar, Temenos experts will explore how composable and modular end-to-end platforms can help banks progressively modernize payment processing and financial crime management — without having to transform their entire technology landscape at once.
Key topics will include:
🔹 Real-time and high-volume payment orchestration
🔹 SEPA and ISO 20022 readiness
🔹 Advanced Financial Crime Management (FCM)
🔹 AI-driven AML detection
🔹 Unified case management and investigations
🔹 Improved straight-through processing (STP)
🔹 Real-time visibility across transactions and risks
The discussion will also focus on how banks can accelerate time to market, reduce operational complexity, strengthen compliance and build a stronger foundation for cross-border growth — while maintaining efficiency and control.
